Our goal is to bring you unforgettable events

by matching your vision to the perfect band, performers, and setlist.

We work with a massive network of musicians across the southeast to deliver custom events - anything from note-for-note tribute shows and immersive themed events to non-stop dance parties to celebrate every occasion.

We’d love to hear your vision for your next event.

It was my pleasure to work with Shindig to arrange music for a gala event... Having music at this event helped to elevate the evening and our guests (from all across the nation), were impressed and delighted!

Meet the Founder

Jacob Deaton is a musician and bandleader with a celebrated history both on and behind the stage. For over a decade, he has been in high demand from multiple circles and is equally comfortable in the worlds of jazz, blues, rock, and Americana. He has served as the guitarist for L.A. blues rocker Jonah Smith, with whom he made a semi-finals appearance on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Col. Bruce Hampton, the long-revered Southern blues surrealist, and many others.

As a jazz artist and bandleader, Jacob has released six original albums, toured Europe, and was featured at the Atlanta Jazz Festival in 2013. He has received critical acclaim from publications including Jazz Times and All About Jazz as a unique voice on the rise in the world of jazz guitar.

As the agent for Georgia Players Guild (A nationally touring tribute show agency) and all Shindig My Event bands, Jacob has established himself at the center of a massive network of musicians across the Southeast. His experience designing and executing custom events prompted the creation of Shindig, a hub for musicians and organizations to be connected with the aim of creating phenomenal events.

A few of Jacob’s favorite things include a well-prepared pour over cup of black coffee, his alone time with vinyl records, Eastern philosophy authors such as J. Krishnamurti and his ever increasing collection of guitars and house plants :)
